Abbreviated ACF. A set of program packages from IBM that allows computer resources to be shared over communications links using the concepts of SAA (Systems Application Architecture).
For example, ACF/TCAM (Advanced Communications Functions/Telecommunications Access Method) and ACF/VTAM (Advanced Communications Functions/Virtual Telecommunications Access Method) allow the interconnection of two or more domains into one multiple-domain network.
